There is a total of 47 short films taking part in the competition. They vary in terms of length and techniques, as well as touch upon a wide range of subjects. The truly diverse collection of films includes both debuts and films that have already gained recognition at other festivals.
This time we would like to give you a taste of ‘All These Creatures’ – a touching picture about growing up in the shadow of a difficult family situation. Though kept in an atmosphere of anxiety, the film gives hope for a better tomorrow. Beautiful in every detail, the frames and the brilliant narration won it the Golden Palm for the best short film at this year’s Cannes festival.
‘All These Creatures’ will be screened as part of the collection entitled ‘Nightshade and Other Shorts’.
